Paper Clay, Georgia Clay, waxed linen thread, Mountain Laurel, mica and native Georgia wildflower seeds.
Site specific Installation at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center

Ue-oh-kilv is created with all biodegradable materials and embedded seeds that will return to the earth and flower a new garden. After hanging at Callanwolde, Ue-oh-kilv will return to the earth as an offering.
red Georgia clay, donated by regional farms (land that was taken from indigenous peoples) is also embedded in the work. The communal making of the piece, its source materials and ability to regrow life reconnect us with each other, our histories and the land.
